Photowidget operator ‘Photowidget’ attracts 1 billion won seed investment

‘Photo Widget’, which serves the MZ generation mobile life app ‘Photo Widget: Simple’, has attracted 1 billion won in seed investment from A Ventures.
Photo Widget Simple provides a widget function that allows iOS users to freely decorate their home screen with their own photos, and it has surpassed 15 million downloads within three months of its launch, attracting attention from teenage users around the world.
More than 50% of users are from the UK and the US, showing expectations for global success right after launch.
Recently, as well as the photo album feature, various widget features such as horoscope and countdown for the global MZ generation have been added to quickly secure global users.
Tae-gyu Kim, vice president of A Ventures, who made this seed investment, said, “We highly evaluated the team’s ability to quickly catch new changes and launch the service. Based on the large number of users, we have high expectations for the plan to provide various services targeting the MZ generation in the global market.”
